Numerous individuals have known about Transactional Analysis (TA) and it was famous various years prior in management development programmes yet how important is a psychoanalytic tool made in the ’50s to the present managers and consultants in industry and business?

History of Transactional Analysis (TA)

Transactional Analysis of Personality has its origins strongly in the therapeutic arena. It was produced as a way to deal with psychotherapy by Dr. Eric Berne, a Canadian Psychiatrist who had turned out to be progressively frustrated with ways to deal with psychotherapy in the late 1950s. His revolutionary approach prompted to a viable theory of personality and efficient psychotherapy with an extensive variety of uses from clinical approaches to child development, psychopathology, communication and therapy for couples, people, groups and families.
